A particular insignia of the Italia Army is that one representing all the Armies together. In fact there is a roman armour with helmet overlapping two rifles, two lances, two cannons and electric discharges and surrounded by an oak branch and a laurel branch. It is worn by the Cadets of the Military Academy of Modena, the Con-Commissioned Officers' School and the Band of the Army.
The decoration of the Cadets of the Military School is constituted by a grenade with a flame on the top.
The "Independent Units" are composed of troop personnel employed at the territorial Commands, the Document Centres and the Military Establishments in Pena. Their decoration is constituted by a star with five tips and a towered crown.
The decoration of the Military Chaplains is formed by two olive branches with the Latin cross in the centre and the towered crown. It is fixed on the beret, while on the other headgears the Chaplains have got the decoration of the unit they belong to, formed by a small circle with a cross.
