Silver Medal to the Military Valour

During a serious political military collapse it could maintain itself solid, disciplined, loyal to its oath, with a sense of duty and of honour. In the difficult mission of opposing the German advance toward Rome, it was able to limit it supporting other units involved in the battle. In spite of the losses and conscious of the difficult task, it continued to fight up to a superior order. It remained around its Flag until when the Regiment Commander ordered to leave it. Great example of cavalry virtue that managed to repeat the secular tradition and the actions of the wars of independence and of the First World War.
