"Altius tendo"
It is composed by a regiment command, a logistic support company and an alpine battalion.
With volunteer personnel the Regiment is located in Pinerolo (TO) and its War Flag is awarded with a Military Order of Italy, three Silver Medals and two Bronze Medal to the Military Valour, a War Cross to the Military Valour, a Golden Cross to the Army Merit, a Silver Medal to the Merit and a Bronze Medal to the Merit of the Italian Red Cross.
The celebration of the Regiment is on 16th June, anniversary of the battles in Monte Nero (1915) where it gained the Silver Medal to the Military Valour.
