Golden Medal to the Military Valour
Decree of 31st December 1947
On 9th September 1943 the "Aosta" Alpine Artillery Group was promptly deployed against a German trap. During the hard and bloody battles lasted one year, with Yugoslavian patriots it dominated with heroism any difficulty overpassing risks and imposing to the admiration of anyone. With combat voluntary, it maintained the prestige of the Italian Army showing confidence in the fate of the Homeland. (Montenegro – Sangiaccato – Albania. 9th September 1943 – 31st October 1944. Silver Medal to the Civil Valour
Decree of 26th November 1957
After a violent flooding on a wide mountain area with many centres remained isolated, the Regiment units intervened facing dangers with competence, valour and noble spirit of abnegation, helping people, evacuating dangerous buildings, restoring connections and refueling food, materials and medicines to the populations hit by the disaster that showed their recognition. (Val Varaita, June – July 1957).
Bronze Medal to the Merit of the Red Cross
In recognition for its generous contribution in the rescue operations of the Italian Red Cross in favour of the populations hit by the flooding in November 1994.
