This mountain armoured artillery Regiment has got a strong alpine tradition. It is composed of a regiment command, a logistic support battery and an objectives acquisition battery.
With volunteer personnel, the Regiment is located in Fossano (CN). Its Flag is awarded with a Golden Medal to the Military Valour, a Silver Medal to the Civil Valour and a Bronze Medal to the Merit of the Red Cross.
Like all the artillery regiments, the celebration of the Regiment is on 15th June, anniversary of the battle of Solstizio (1918).
