"Per aspra via ad aspra meta"
Shield: it is divided into three sections. The first section
is blue with the golden silphium of Cirenaica; the second one in silver with
the red cross under the Capo d’Angiò (Bologna); the third section has got an
upper part with red and silver small squares (Croatia) and a lower part in blue
containing a golden pillar with three golden five-tip stars (Slovenia).
External garnitures: above the shield there is a golden towered crown
with fluttering blue ribbons representing the recognitions to the Valour. Under
the shield there is a fluttering golden banner with the motto
"Per aspra via ad aspra meta".
