The Multinational CIMIC Group is a multinational unit of NATO with Italian leadership that is able to search, train and project units of specialized in rescuing operations and the restoring the areas damaged by conflicts. CIMIC is the acronym of Civil Military Cooperation, an operational function consisting in the interaction between the military forces and the civil components in areas of crisis.

Located in the city of Motta di Livenza (TV), the Group has got volunteer personnel coming from all the armies and corps but also foreign personnel coming from Greece, Hungary, Italy, Portugal and Romania. It has got the structure and the components of a regiment.
