During the Second World War, culminated in struggles for the liberation of the national territory, it operated with the combat Armies in inaccessible territories, in harsh climatic adversities, in tragic situations determined by the enemy superiority. Present in all operational sectors, it has performed the assigned logistic tasks with hard work, high sense of friendship and spirit of sacrifice; in that way it contributed to stoke daring offensives and tenacious defences in which it intervened directly with its men. It has always complied the laws of the military honour and it has give great blood toll against the German assailant, participating efficiently in the war of liberation on national territory. In occasion of the earthquake that on 23rd November 1980 stroke the regions of Campania and Basilicata, the Administrative Corps intervened promptly with 68 Officers, 78 Non-Commissioned Officers, 14 Complement Cadets Officers and 121 Specialized Cadets of the Supply and Administrative Military School in Maddaloni, participating in the rescue operations in the areas affected by the disaster. It operated in dangerous conditions for the destructions and the possibility of slumping, with its spirit of sacrifice and human solidarity, giving comfort and confidence to the populations. Moreover it intervened to save people buried under the ruins, retrieve corpses and provide to their burial, remove the ruins for reactivating the most important and urgent urban services. After the initial needs the Administrative Corps has kept participating efficiently and supporting the rescue and the preparation of the means to be used in occasion of any future disasters. For its moral firmness, the operational efficiency, the high sense of duty and the spirit of solidarity, it has received appreciation and recognition by local Authorities and rescued populations, giving prestige to the Corps and its Flag. In occasion of the earthquake that on 23rd November 1980 stroke the regions of Campania and Basilicata, the Administrative Corps intervened promptly with an impressive complex of men and means from all Italy, giving a decisive contribution to the rescue operations for populations affected by the disaster. It operated with high spirit of sacrifice and sense of solidarity, in extremely difficult weather conditions, ensuring logistic support to all units employed in the area, shelters in tents, hot meals and the necessary kinds of provisioning and equipment to the stricken populations. It intervened to save people buried under the ruins, retrieve corpses and provide to their burial, remove the ruins for reactivating the most important and urgent urban services. After the initial needs the Administrative Corps has kept participating efficiently and supporting the rescue and the preparation of the means to be used in occasion of any future disasters. Giving substance to its motto "Tenacity, Sacrifice and Courage" and through the valid participation of its Officers in overseas missions, the Administrative Corps has contributed to realize adequate logistic and administrative supports permitting to face the emergences in the operational scenarios. In those situations, among the ruins, the desperation and the dead people in Beirut, between the Kurds, in the devastated Albanian economy, in Somalia and in Mozambique, the Officers of the Corps have been always present in the Contingents determining positive conditions to perform the operational task of Commanders and troops. Thanks to its professionalism, organizational capabilities and courage, it contributed to reinvigorate the appreciation and esteem enhancing the ethical principles and the moral values; in that way it increased the prestige of the Italian Army. Animated by a strong spirit and a sense of discipline, the Supply Corps has worked hard with men and means in all international interventions contributing to defend and reaffirm the basic principles of the legitimate State in Albania, Somalia and Mozambique. Its real, efficient and dynamic logistic support to the employed Contingents aimed also to comfort local populations, overcoming differences in language, race and religion. In compliance with the motto "Foreseeing and providing", it has renewed and revived the value of the Institution and its Flag (Albania, Somalia, Mozambique, 1991 - 1994. To the Supply Corps).
