"Avanti è la vita"
Shield: divided into three parts by a silver thick line with yellow edge. The upper red part contains the golden Capitoline wolf, remembering the territorial and traditional relations with the Capital where the 8th Engineer Regiment was constituted and remained until its dissolution in 1943. The section to the left is azure with the golden silphium of Cirenaica, remembering the valour of the "Folgore" in Northern Africa during the Second World War. The section to the right is green and divided by three silver bars with yellow edge, remembering the rivers of Santerno, Senio and Sillaro in Emilia where the 184th "Folgore" Engineer mixed Battalion reaffirmed the "noble tradition of glory of the Army" in 1945 and gained the Bronze Medal to the Military Valour (represented in the shield by the azure star).
External garnitures: above the shield there is a golden towered crown
with blue ribbons representing the recognitions to the Valour. Under the shield
