"Diam l'ali alla vittoria"
The 6th Maneuvre Regiment is the heir of the "Folgore" Paratroopers Logistic Battalion and the "Centauro" Medical Unit.
Constituted by a regiment command, a command and services company, a medical unit, a maintenance battalion and a restock battalion, it is able to develop all the activities necessary for the support to a big unit in operations and exercises.
The War Flag of the Regiment is decorated with a Bronze Medal to the Army Valour and a Silver Cross and a Bronze Cross to the Army Merit.
With volunteer personnel, it is located in Pisa.
As for all the units of the Transports and Materials Army, the celebration of the Regiment is on 22nd May that is the anniversary of the first automobile transports of Units employed in the battle of Altipiani (1916).
Since 2015 it is named "Folgore" Logistic Regiment, now constituted by a Logistic Support and Command Company and by a Logistic Battalion (formed by three companies: Maintenance, Transports and Refueling).
