"Omnia omnibus"
It originated from the 1st Automobile Centre constituted in August 1920 for the first Amy Corps.
In 1923 it became 1st Transports Group and in 1926 1st Automobile Centre again; on 1st July 1942 it became 1st drivers Regiment.
Dissolved after the armistice, in 1947 the 1st drivers Centre was constituted for the Territorial Military Command. In 1964 it changed its name into 1st maneuvre mixed auto unit depending on the Motor Direction of the 1st Territorial Military Command.
On 1st October 1990 it was named 1st "Monviso" transports Battalion and on 28th March 1991 it received the War Flag and the traditions of the 1st drivers Regiment.
On 1st July 1998 the Battalion was renamed 1st "Monviso" Logistic Support Regiment at the dependencies of the Northern Area Logistic Command.
Since 1st February 2001, at the dependencies of the Projection Logistics Brigade, it absorbed the "Taurinense" Medical Unit and the "Taurinense" Logistic Battalion and it was given the current name of "Taurinense" Logistic Transport.
Since 1992 it has participated in many international operations.
