During the events in Borgo the Regiment decided the victory attacking the County, taking control on it and fighting against the enemy. At night in Levico the Regiment used the bayonet on the rifles against the Austrians, without responding to the fire, conquering the territory step by step. (Borgo and Levico, 23rd July 1866).

Decree 28th December 1916
Confirming the ancient valour and the glorious traditions in long battles on the territory of Sabotino and Podgora, it participated in the battle of Gorizia and crossing the Isonzo it brought the Flag of Italy in the conquered city (July 1915 – August 1916).

In six months of operational activities on the front of Tobruk, it could reach important conquests imposing its intrepid will to the enemy. In the 40 days of the battle of Marmarica its infantrymen showed their virtues and heroism. It went beyond the difficulties and it was able to stop the violence of the enemy forces. The counteroffensive was carried out with moral energies up to the victory. Great example of faith, abnegation and valour. (Tobruk – El Adem – Ain El Gazala – Agedabia – Martuba, 30th May 1941 – 20th March 1942).
