"Come folgore"
The 185th "Folgore" Paratroopers RAO Regiment (for the Reconnaissance and Acquisition of Objectives) is organized in a Command, a Support Company and a Battalion for the acquisition of objectives with four companies.
Composed by Volunteers, the 185th selects its personnel through a physical test and a qualification course divided into training modules with growing difficulties.
The Regiment, located in Livorno, is included into the Forces for Special Operations.
