"Per aerem usque ad metam"
This Helicopter Regiment of recent institution is used in the summer campaigns against the forest fires and for civil protection activities. The Unit provides personnel and vehicles for overseas operations.
Composed by volunteers, the Regiment is placed at the "Martucci" airport in Lamezia Terme (CZ).
The banner of the Regiment is decorated by a Silver Medal to the Army Valour.
The holiday of the Regiment is celebrated on 10th May, that remembers the establishment of the first unit of the Specialty (1953).
