The Brigade is composed of the operational regiments of the Army Aviation. It provides the "capability packages" to the Operational Land Forces at home and in overseas theatres.
Its personnel is made up of Volunteers and has got only air units; it is located in Calabria, Lazio and Trentino Alto Adige.
