Summer training

​​The “Teulié” Military School aims to educate teenagers that will be able to operate at the highest level of the contemporary society, giving them a great cultural preparation as well as an ethical knowledge based on military principles and virtues.

They can be learnt through the daily teaching of the discipline and the practice of military activities that are faithful to real difficulties.

The military training represents an important element in the education of the behavior and the personality, permitting to acquire decisional capabilities and control of body and emotions.

The training process of the “Teulié” Military School provides for tactical days and summer training at the end of the scholastic year. Numerous and different activities are carried out: helicopter transport, mountain orienteering, formal education, combat individual training. All the training phases represent an important moment of growh for the Cadets, reinforcing that relation of friendship and cohesion created during the Institute life and that will permit to overcome the difficulties.

The “Teulié” Military School completes the summer training reaching the final result of educate good citizens, morally educated and mature. The summer camp represents the main training moment where third-year and fourth-year Cadets are the protagonists. After the theoretical studies, it is a demanding but exciting moment for the Cadets. This phase is generally conduct in alpine areas (Aosta or Brunico), ideal contexts where testing the capabilities. Professional instructors of the Alpine Training Centre, one of the best in the world, give the Cadets precious teachings on the movement, life and survival in mountain, climbing techniques (through an artificial wall in the rock climbing complex).

In addition to specific training on mountain, the Cadets participate in exercices that include shooting with individual weapon, tactical helicopter transport, embarkation and disembarkation, topographic orienteering competitions, combat individual training, rock course, NBC defence, using of radio apparatus and land patrols. In a wonderful natural environment the young Cadets learn to know their potentialities, to control the physical effort, to manage their mental resources, to correctly use the available materials and weapons.
