Activities and services of POLMANTEO
The instruments used by the Army must be able to operate in critical situations and in difficult environmental conditions. In order to verify and validate their efficiency, a function test is made in conditions of mechanical-climatic and electromagnetic stress, according to international specifications.
The "Maintenance Centre of Electronic Telecommunication and Optoelectronic Means" (POLMANTEO) has got the task of ensuring the efficiency of materials, vehicles and equipment of the Armed Force. Thanks to the high technological level of the instruments and the specialization of the personnel, the production Sections ("COM Electronics", "Mechanical and Electromagnetic Productions", "NON COM Telematics, Electronics and Opto-electronics") carry out complex works on high-tech equipment.
POLMANTEO has increased its capabilities with a calibration centre and strengthening the laboratories. Thanks to its activities it is able to carry out tests and measurements in terms of photometer, electromagnetic compatibility and resistance to mechanical and climatic stress according to the international laws (STANAG 4370, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810F, IEEE STD 299 and FINABEL 2C10).
Electromagnetic tests
POLMANTEO is equipped to make tests in the following sectors:
Environmental and climatic simulation tests
POLMANTEO can make tests for the resistance and the ability to the employment of materials, according the laws FINABEL 2C-10, MIL-STD-810F e STANG 4370.
It can make the following types of tests:
- CLIMATIC TEST
The laboratories have got two thermo-humid-pressure climatic rooms for the following tests:
- RESISTANCE TO EXTERNAL AGENTS
Mechanical resistance tests
POLMANTEO
can make tests for the resistance and the ability to the employment of materials, according the laws FINABEL 2C-10, MIL-STD-810F e STANG 4370.
Calibration Centre
POLMANTEO can make
calibrations for generating and measuring the voltage/current, direct and alternating, and resistance.
