The rank insignias refer to the hierarchical rank of the military personnel but also to the specific function or the temporary position through helms or red/black elements.
They are represented by two different designs depending on their position on the Ceremonial Uniforms or other combinations; in both cases they are the result of the combination of stars, stripes or other symbols, showing the hierarchical level. The increase of the stars or the stripes indicates the progression of the rank.
On the headgear the ranks can be represented in different ways: stripes and chinstrap with various forms or stripes with different thickness and size.
The insignias are in metal or plastic for epaulettes and embroidered or in plastic for the Ceremonial Uniform. They are attached directly on the epaulettes, on specific rectangular support in fabric or on the sleeves of the Ceremonial Uniforms.
The next pages show the rank insignias in use on the headgears, the Ceremonial Uniforms, on strip and adhesive pectoral and on the epaulettes.
