The Band of the Army wears the Regular Uniform and the Service Uniform where it has got a special patch. The distinctive braiding is constituted by laurel oak with golden berries and silver lyre. The star and the braiding have got a red edge.
On the headgear the Band fix the decoration that is a panoply representing all the Armies: there are a roman armour with helmet overlapped to two rifles, two lances, two hatchets and thunderbolts, surrounded by a branch of oak and of laurel. The decorations is also worn by the cadets of the Academy of Modena and the School for Non-Commissioned Officers.
During relevant events, the Band wears the historical Uniform.
