Decree of 31^st December 1947

In ten days of difficult battles, with its traditional violence and faith, it opposed the continuous attacks of the enemy destroying it and forcing it to retreat where it established its defence position. It fought for several days to open a way. It managed to win against the enemy armoured vehicles maintaining its intrepid spirit, heart and valour, in spite of the tragic retreat on the Russian territory and the holocaust of its small group of survived heroes. (1^st December 1942 – 15^th January 1943).

Silver Medal to the Military Valour

Decree of 12^th May 1949

Serving an Infantry division employed in offensives, passing the hardest efforts and privations and entering for a thousand kilometres the territory devastated by the war, it led its pieces against the enemy lines defending the area; in the difficult weather and logistic conditions, it also confirmed its high military spirit and ensured to its infantries the contribution of courage and blood sacrifice, through the prestige of an expert technique. (August 1941 – May 1942).

For being distinguished in the attack and conquest of Peschiera. (To the 1^st Battery).

Decree of 4^th January 1978

On the occasion of the violent earthquake in Friuli, it promptly intervened with men and vehicles to rescue the populations. With courage and abnegation, it gave an efficient help, contributing to limit the damages of the tragic event. Its hard work raised appreciation by the authorities and recognition by the rescued populations, increasing the prestige of the Army. (6^th – 15^th May 1976).

Bronze Medal to the Merit of the Italian Red Cross

During the missions abroad (Afghanistan, Kosovo and Lebanon), the 8^th "Pasubio" Land Artillery Regiment always collaborated with the Italian Red Cross – Local Committee of Serre giving its unconditioned help and examples of altruism and human solidarity. The collaboration in different foreign scenarios with high moral and social valour testified it strong relation with the Assiciation, contributing to exalt its prestige. (Rome, 10^th October 2008).
