The Multinational Division South (MND-S), officially established on June 15, 2025, was born from the multinationalization process of the "Vittorio Veneto" Division and is a multinational command based at the "Alessandro Predieri" barracks in FLORENCE.
Italy provides approximately 70% of the effective personnel. Foreign military personnel come from the following NATO member countries: Albania, Croatia, France, Great Britain, Greece, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey, and Hungary.
Furthermore, from July 1, 2025, the MND-S will constitute the Land Component Command (LCC) of the Allied Reaction Force NATO, directly under the operational control of NRDC-ITA.
