With the establishment of “Friuli" Division Command, on July 15 2013 “FRIULI" Command and Logistic Support Unit was created, employing personnel from Command and Tactical Support Unit of the disestablished “Mantova" Division and from the disestablished EUROFOR General Headquarters.

Starting from July 5, 2016, as part of the project of Armed Forces reorganization, “FRIULI" Command and Logistic Support Unit has been elevated to the rank of Regiment and has changed its name to Command and Tactical Supports Unit of “Friuli" Division, employing a Battalion, Command offices and a Command and Services Company.

The unit is composed by volunteer personnel and it is located at “PREDIERI" barracks in Florence. It supports the Divisional Headquarters upon which it depends, and provides living, moving and combat conditions, both in garrison and in battle array.

Since July 1, 2019, following the name change of “FRIULI" Division, it was renamed to “Vittorio Veneto" Command and Tactical Supports Unit.

“Vittorio Veneto" Command and Tactical Supports Unit is the Support Unit of “Vittorio Veneto" Division Command, designed to:

• meet the functional requirements of the Division Command;​​
  

• supply logistical and infrastructure support, as well as Command Division's security, both on-site and off-site (exercises/operations);​
  

• implement and manage the Command's communication systems;
  

• maintain the infrastructures and implement operations connected with the capability to support the Division Command's deployment.
