The "Monte Pavione" Battalion, with tenacity and valour, for three days it resisted to the violence of an enemy division, maintaining the trenches with the heroic sacrifice of its Alpine Troopers. Already awarded with two medals to the Military Valour, in five months of Italian-Greek war and in several battles with many losses, it distinguished for spirit of sacrifice and valour in the attacks, for the resistance in the defence against the enemy, confirming its military traditions and virtues, heroism, glory, dedication to the duty and the Homeland. (Greek-Albanian front, 24^th November 1940 – 23^rd April 1941. To the "Feltre" Battalion).

During a hard battle against land and air forces and employed in difficult situations, it imposed itself for high warrior spirit paying blood tribute and giving proof of tenacity and valour. (Eastern Africa, 9^th February – 27^th March 1941. To the "Uork Amba" Battalion).

With tenacity it conquered and maintained an important position opposing continuous assaults by enemy forces, while its climbers units reached the peak of Amba after admirable efforts with a CC.NN. nucleus and Ascari. (Amba Uork, 27^th February 1936. To the 7^th Complementary Battalion).

With its great units, heirs of noble traditions, it arrived to the places hit by the disaster of Vajont; overpassing dangers, obstacles and difficulties, the 7^th Alpine Troopers Regiment showed sense of duty, without heeding the danger and admirable solidarity in rescuing the survivor populations, honouring the Army and the Nation. (October 1963).

It distinguished for hard work, courage and abnegation in rescuing the populations hit by the earthquake occurred in the regions of Calabria and Sicily on 28^th December 1908.

Bronze Medal to the Merit of the Italian Red Cross

In recognition of its generous contribution in the rescuing operations of the Italian Red Cross, in favour of the populations hit by the flood in November 1994.
