In hard, tenacious and aggressive defensive battle against hostile violent assaults by the enemies, it confirmed and came beyond the past traditions. With blood and life tribute, in spite of the enemy and the adverse weather conditions, it heroically maintained the sacred line entrusted to its honour and valour, showing great spirit of sacrifice. For several days it tried to open a way between encircling armoured vehicles. In spite of the tragic retreat along the snowy Russian Steppe and the supreme holocaust of heroes, it continued to show intrepid spirit and strong heart and, after a month, it won against the power of the enemy vehicles(Don Front - Abrossimowo - Monastyrschina - Getreide - Swch - Arbusow - Tscherkowo, 1st December 1942 - 15th January 1943).

At the advance guard of a Division employed to encircle enemy forces, separated from its column, it attacked the enemy with courage. Distinguished in the Nipro and in the battle of Petrikowka, it chased the enemy faithful to its ancient reputation of valour; it reached for first the enemy rear guards crushing their resistance. Advancing for three hundred kilometres in a territory occupied by partisans, in spite of freezing, mud and rain, it faced the enemy in a nine-day hard battle encircling it in a village and forcing it to cede the steps. Confirming its military qualities, it gained merits for its offensives and the defence sacrificing itself in spite of the violent winter (Russian Front - Jasnaja - Poliana - Wionowka - Shelesnoje - Gorlowka Nikitowka - Chazepetrowka - Ploskii - August 1941 - May 1942).
Bronze Medal to the Military Valour
Decree of 5th June 1920
It gave proof of its tenacity and military virtues, opposing the enemy along Piave river (19th - 24th June 1918). In seven days of hard battles, with heroism and valour, it conquered positions on Monte Grappa chasing the enemy (Monte grappa, 27th -31st October 1918).
