"Velox ad impetum"
This Bersaglieri Regiment is organized in a regiment command, a support and logistic company and a Bersaglieri battalion.
One of the first regiments of the Army with volunteer personnel, it is located in Caserta.
Deployed many times outside the national borders, it is one of the regiments with a greater experience abroad.
Its War Flag is decorated with two Military Orders of Italy, two Golden Medals to the Military Valour and a Golden Medal to the Army Valour, a Silver Medal to the Military Valour, a Silver Medal to the Army Valour and a Silver Medal to the Civil Valour, five Bronze Medals to the Military Valour and a Silver Medal to the Merit.
Like for all the Bersaglieri regiments, its celebration is on 18th June that is the anniversary of the specialty establishment (1836).
