At the brief but significant ceremony there were the TAAC-W Commander General Massimo Biagini as well as the elders of the neighboring villages that have an important social and institutional role in the Afghan communities. Before the donation the elders have met General Biagini, presenting him their problems and thanking him for the help provided by the Italian contingent.

The fruitful and continuous relations with the Health Department of Herat and the onlus foundations specialized in medical helps are strengthened by projects for the emergency medical support as well as prevention and information.

Thanks to the Multinational CIMIC Group, the Army Unit specialized in the civil-military cooperation, the support to the population represents an activity that flanks the principal one of training and assistance to the Afghan Security Forces.
