The "grey-green" uniform, entered in use in the early last century, has been the uniform of the Italian soldier for about forty years, throughout two world wars.
Symbol of the iconography of the World War I, it is still present in some Armed Corps, supplanted in the Army by the olive Khaki uniform of British origins that characterized the Army during the co-belligerence and the following years.
