​​​​​​​​​The Italian Units involved in the battle were divided into three Armed Corps: the 10^th, the 20^th and the 21^st.

The 10^th Unit, deployed in​ the southern of El Quattara, included the 17^th Pavia Division, the 185^th Folgore Division and the 27^th Brescia Division.

The 20^th Unit included the 25^th Bologna Division and the 102^nd Trento Division.

The 21^st Unit included the 132^nd Ariete and 133^rd Littorio armoured Divisions and the 101^st Trieste motorized Division.

Bersaglieri Regiments, engineer Battalions and artillery groups integrated the supports to the Armed Corps; they included also Great German Units as the 2^nd paratrooper Brigade (Ramcke), that was part of the 10^th Corp, and the 164^th Light Division that integrated the 20^th​ Corp.
