It is the unit that ensures the operation of the Group Command and the logistic support to the General Staff of the Army.
Organized in a command and logistic support company, two services companies and a security company, it provides the personnel for the central bodies and the Region Command.
The unit, located in Rome, is constituted by Volunteers in permanent service and in one-year conscription.
