Courageous regiment of the "Trento" Division, dedicated to the defence of the deployment of a moto-armoured army, during fifteen days of violent battle it was able to face the enemy forces maintaining the positions with individual and collective sacrifices. Hit by the artillery and the enemy aircrafts, reduced in number and finished the ammunitions, it had to retreat after having done its best to defend the retreat of the other Units. (Northern Africa, October – November 1942).
