The "historical piece" of the Horseback Batteries is represented by a 75/27 cannon model 1912, attached to a team of 6 horses in 3 pairs with the horses on the left to the artillerymen.
This organization gave more rapidity in the movements and the maneuvres, permitting to the Horseback Batteries to operate with the Cavalry units.
The uniforms remind the model of 1887 when the Regiment was constituted in Milan.
The horses of the section are "Franches-Montagnes", also known as "Freiberg". This race derives from the English thoroughbred crossbreed with the Anglo-Norman one; it is raised in Switzerland, Italy and other European Countries.
