In the recovery of streets and minefield, the reinforcement of positions and the maintenance of links in battle, it managed to limit the risks for the advanced positions and the patrols. Often involved in battle, it showed valour and tenacity. In any occasions the "Folgore" Engineer mixed Battalion always reaffirmed the noble tradition of hard work and glory of the Army. Decree of 4^th January 1978

Employed in rescue operations in favour of the populations in Friuli hit by an earthquake, it promptly intervened with courage and competence removing the ruins, rescuing the wounded people and helping the survivors. The employment of all the available personnel and means contributed to make less serious the consequences of the event. (Friuli, 6^th – 15^th May 1976. To the 184^th "Santerno" Pioneers Engineer Battalion).
