This Army Aviation Support Regiment, composed by volunteer personnel, is located at the "Antonio Locatelli" airport in Orio al Serio (BG).
The Unit is at the dependencies of the Army Aviation Materials Unit of the Army Aviation Support Command; the peculiarity of the materials need to organize the Support Regiments in Technical-Logistic Poles that are managed at a national level.
The holiday of the Regiment is celebrated on 10th May, that remembers the establishment of the first unit of the Specialty (1953).
