"Nec aspera nec ardua coela timeo"
This Helicopters Regiment was in the Alpine troops and it was employed on the Alps, developing particular abilities in the air in a mountain environment.
It has got volunteer personnel and it is placed at the "Sabelli" airport in Bolzano (BZ). The Flag of the Regiment is decorated with five Silver Medals to the Civil Valour, a Silver Cross to the Army Meritand a Bronze Cross to the Merit of the Italian Red Cross.
The holiday of the Regiment is celebrated on 10th May, that remembers the establishment of the first unit of the Specialty (1953).
