The "Tridentina" Command Division is a projection command with no assigned Forces in peacetime but that, if necessary, can be deployed abroad for international operations.
Historical Unit of the Armed Force, it has been representing for thirty years one of the pillars of the 4th Alpine Army Corps, a great complex unit composed of five alpine brigades and deployed along the Alps.
The Command headquarter is located in Bolzano.
