Silver Medal to the Military Valour
Included in the Alpine Army Corps, on the Don front, in six months of operations it showed dedication and sacrifice in restoring the minefields and in patrol activities. At the beginning of the winter offensive it opposed with heroism to the first attack by the enemy armoured tanks on Rossosch and it contributed to the ditching of the Alpine Army Corps Command, sacrificing the life of its Commanders and soldiers. During the retreat, in fifteen days of battles ended with the barging of Nikolajewka, it sacrificed itself in the name of the Homeland leaving 324 victims in Russia.
