"Con tecnica e tenacia ovunque"
The 24th Alpine Maneuvre Regiment derives from the 4th RRR Unit constituted in Bolzano on 15th September 1969 and the 4th "Claudia" Army Corps Auto-group; in 1982 it became 4th Manuvre Logistic Battalion, located in Bolzano and Appiano (BZ).
In 1986 it was named 24th "Dolomiti" Maneuvre Logistic Battalion and on 22nd May 1988 it received the War Flag.
In 1991 the Battalion moved to the current location involving the components of the "Orobica" Logistic Battalion.
On 15th September 1994 it became a Regiment and since February 2001 it has been given the current organization, passing at the dependencies of the Projection Logistic Brigade.
Since April 1999 the Regiment has participated in operations in the Balkans, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia, Lebanon and it has recently employed personnel in Afghanistan.
