Heir of noble military virtues, it operated with altruism and admirable spirit of sacrifice, without saving energies, in difficult operational scenarios in Homeland and abroad. It worked hard with professionalism to guarantee reliable connections and the functions of command and control in any circumstances both in Homeland, in rescuing operations after natural disasters, and abroad in peacekeeping operations. Composed by personnel with great technical capabilities and with extraordinary human talents, it contributed to increase the prestige of the Army in Italy and abroad. Silver Medal to the Military Valour
Decree of 31st December 1947 (*)
Perfect Unit for training and combat spirit, in very difficult weather and territorial conditions, it carried out its duties always giving a precious contribute to the operations on the Russian front. During violent battles against an enemy superior in the number of people and vehicles, it intervened several times to fight with the Alpines contributing to the success of the actions. In a phase of retreat, the heroic unit confirmed the virtues of the Alpine Engineers of Italy. (Russian front, 15th September 1942 – 1st February 1943. To the 3rd "Julia" Engineer Mixed Battalion).

With tenacity and expertise, in six long months of war and in difficult situations under the enemy fire, it has always ensured the connections building bridges and roads, preparing the defence and fighting with the Alpines if necessary. (Greek front, 5th November 1940 – 23rd April 1941. To the 3rd "Julia" Engineer Mixed Battalion).
