During the campaign, the anti-aircrafts Regiment of 75/46 and 20 mm mod. 35 ensured the protection to the Army Command, the aviation fields and the logistic centre. When the enemy offensive started its batteries, along with the divisional and anti-tanks batteries, opposed their resistance against the armoured enemy around the defended areas. Several tanks were stopped in front of the positions of the batteries that resisted for weeks with the Divisions in Gartmischewkg, Tschertkowo, Maltschewskaja and Millerowo. On those occasions they showed great valour and spirit of sacrifice.
