The "City of Turin" Complex

The entire complex has 66 classrooms, divided as follows

• two large classrooms with a total of 483 seats;
• Three computer classrooms with a total of 226 seats;
• 14 medium classrooms with a total of 510 seats;
• 27 workgroup classrooms with a total of 329 seats;
• eight classrooms previously used for digital C2 training with a total of 76 seats;
• Four lecture theatres with a total of 100 seats;
• four special classrooms (FATS, Fedele, Ratto, Sala Armi/SAND BOX) with a total of 151 seats.
  

FATS (Artillery Palace)
FATS, short for Fire Arms Training Simulator, is an electronic simulation system designed to train individual, target and instinctive marksmanship.

FATS allows up to five trainees to train simultaneously in a small room where videos simulating real operational environments are shown. Trainees use weapons such as

• Beretta pistol mod. 92 F;
• Beretta AR 70/90 rifle;
• Panzerfaust a/t short-range weapon with ranges between 7 and 450 m.
  

The "Sala Armi" (Weapons Room) is now used for courses on individual weapons and, if necessary, for courses on the use of the simulator itself. The premises were renovated in 2003 and now house optimised training facilities and equipment.
