This truck represents the first series production of a military vehicle used in war operations. The Fiat 15 A, named "Libya", had its baptism by fire during the Libya campaign, in the Zanzur Battle (8thJune 1912 and 8thJuly 1912); the Fiat 15 B is different from the Fiat 15 A for its larger displacement, its superior speed and metal disc wheels. It was produced from 1911 to 1920 and remained in service until 1940.
