​​​The SAKO TRG 42 rifle permits to increase the capacity of infantry and cavalry units to  engage targets situated at long distance. It is developed for the precision shooting and it has got numerous accessories that make it suitable to meet the rigid requirements of a sniper in different operational scenarios. The recoil, in polyurethane fixed on an aluminium​ base, is adjustable in elevation, direction and angle and it can be also lengthened through spacers; the bipod, designed for the sniping shooting, ensures a stable shooting position installing on the weapon big and heavy optical devices. The trigger's mechanism is adjustable in terms of traction; the trigger can be adjusted in three directions (length and vertical horizontal angle). The flame arrester is adjustable for a better control of the rifle and it reduces the "dust" effect during the shot.
