In conquering strong enemy positions and trenches called Frasche and Razzi on Carso, and reconquering positions on Altipiano of Sette Comuni (Monte Castelgomberto, Monte Fior and Casera Zebio), it always gave proof of sublime audacity and heroic determination. 25^th July – 15^th November 1915; June 1916.

Expressing the strong virtues of the Sardinian people, it gave contribution of heroism to the glory of the Army and the Homeland. In the days of the misfortune, it reconquered the enemy positions of Col del Rosso and Col d'Echele (28^th – 31^st January 1918). As invader it opposed on Piave the audacity of its will to win, the sublime determination and the great tenacity (16^th – 24^th June 1918). In the battle for the revival, it showed continuous courage to chase the enemy (26^th October – 4^th November 1918).

Included in the “Iraq” Task Force on the framework of the “Ancient Babylon” Operation, the Regiment participated in all the activities related to the Iraqi postwar crisis for four months. In spite of the dangerous and unstable situation as well as the contraposition between the political-religious power and the tribal one, with courage, efforts and extraordinary spirit of sacrifice, the Regiment operated showing valour and determination to ensure the success of the mission. For all the period its Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers and soldiers operated with extraordinary effort, physical, moral and intellectual energies and professionalism in order to satisfy the activities and alleviate the pains of the population. In that context, the men of the 151^st Regiment showed high professionalism and sense of responsibility. During the terrorist attack on 12^th November 2003 in Al-Nassiriyah, one of its men died sacrificing himself in the name of those ideals of peace and solidarity among the peoples. Extraordinary motivated and resolute in actions, the Regiment contributed to the success of the operations in Iraq, increasing the image of the national contingent and giving prestige to the Armed Forces and to Italy in an international context.
