It faced with courage an enemy attack, managing to limit the invader and later to repel it. Suddenly called to the line, it opposed violent enemy attacks, contributing to stop definitely the offensive. (Col della Berretta, 22nd – 26th November 1917; Cà d'Anna, 17th December 1917). In the battle for the reconquest it conquered audaciously the top of Mount Valderoa, raising admiration by the enemy. When it attacked, it defended with tenacity repelling the enemy. (Mount Valderoa, 24th – 28th October 1918). Proud of their traditions, its young infantrymen always showed tenacity, bravery and heroic dedication to duty paying a blood tribute.
