"Garibaldi” Bersaglieri Brigade keeps training in Latvia

Planning, conduct and support of defensive and offensive maneuvers in cooperation with Latvian Mechanized Brigade

“Baltic” Task Group carried out “CRYSTAL ARROW 24” Exercise as part of eFP (enhanced Forward Presence) operation in Latvia.

“CRYSTAL ARROW 24” Exercise was carried out inside Adazi polygon area for 15 days. It represented the summit of all the training activities aimed to achieve full interoperability and multinational integration among the NATO units in Latvia. The Exercise involved over 2,000 soldiers from 14 allied countries.

As part of the Canadian-led multinational Battle Group, Italian Army “Garibaldi” Bersaglieri Brigade participated in the planning, conduct and support of defensive and offensive maneuvers in cooperation with Latvian Mechanized Brigade, fully integrated in the multinational tactical plan.

Following NATO international commitment, “Baltic” Task Group reflects Italian effort to fulfil its primary mission of maintaining collective security and territorial integrity in the Baltics, as well as reasserting the cohesion and solidarity among all Member countries.
