Alfa Romeo “6C 2500 Colonial” – 1939

Differently from the Lancia Aprilia and the FIAT 508 CM, this vehicle was born to be used in the Colonies at the request of the Ministry of War to Alfa Romeo in 1938. During the production phase, two prototypes of the vehicle were sent to Eastern Africa for finalizing the carburation at 2000 m​ of height and controlling the oil cooling system. The first use of the vehicle was in the area of Addis Ababa. It comes from the series production, that is from the Alfa Romeo 6 C 2500 (Sport and Tourism version) and it was used by the military and government leaders.
