The sheltered kitchen in two ISO 1C containers is characterized by mobility, rapid deployment, simple structure, safety and simplicity. The complex is suitable for being used also in occasion of natural disasters and it ensures:
- making and cooking food (breakfast, main courses, second courses, side dishes);
- preparation of meat for the cooking;
- distribution of meals for a total potential of 500 rations every hour.
The kitchen is composed of 2 containers: one for preparing food and one for its distribution, positioning the containers at a certain distance, lifting the two upper doors and breaking down the lower doors. The complex has got all the cooking equipment for making, cooking and distributing the meals. A water plant, connectible to the water supply network or to external cisterns, provides water to sinks, electrical pots, boilers, etc.
