Bronze Medal to the Military Valour
Decree of 13th September 1945
Firstly in Corsica, through the Padana Plain, from the river Reno to Venice later, it supported the infantrymen in the battle against the German enemy and in the victorious battle for the freedom and reconstruction of Italy, inspiring to the traditions of the Renaissance. (Corsica, 9th September – 3rd October 1943; Ravenna, Venice, 12th January – 8th May 1945).
War Cross to the Military Valour
Decree of 12th April 1937
Artillery Group of the Royal Army, component of a CC NN Unit, it gave proof of high war efficiency, combat spirit and continuous cooperation with the valorous Black Shirts, during the events of the Italian-Ethiopian campaign. In the battle of Sciré, with its efficiency and courageous mobility, it cooperate to the victory against a stronger enemy. (Sciré, 2nd – 3rd March 1936. To the 3rd cannon group of 65/17).
Golden Cross to the Army Merit
Decree n. 1013 of 5th May 2010
Army Unit with absolute valour, it carried out its duties with extraordinary efficiency and capabilities in the Balkan, Iraqi, Afghan and Lebanese operational theatres, as an example of abnegation, high sense of duty and unconditioned spirit of sacrifice. Even on the national territory, on the occasion of important international events, the Unit distinguished for its qualified support to military and civil authorities. Clear example of a regiment of excellence, composed by personnel with high human qualities and technical capabilities that contributed to increase the prestige of the Armed Force in Italy and abroad.
