In twenty months of a violent battle, the Regiment operated with high dedication giving proof of legendary valour in any occasions. Always violent in the offensives, the first to reach and maintain the objectives, tenacious in the defensive, audacious in limiting the armoured Units during the retreats, it gave honour and prestige to the Italian Armies. After having been dissolved and reconstituted for three times, it always testified its glorious traditions. (Northern Africa, April 1941 – May 1943).

In battle and in trench it always gave proof of valour, tenacity and determination. After having passed the enemy trenches, it conquered the positions of Jamiano, contributing to the conquest of the Flondar line. Recalled to the line, after only two days to face a violent enemy attack, it showed sublime abnegation and audacity in the battle. (November 1916 – June 1917, q.144; Jamiano-Flondar).
