Silver Medal to the Military Valour
Decree of 16th October 1954
In six months of violent campaign, with enthusiasm and courage it faced the enemies; it passed the difficulties of the territory: in breaking the Greek-Albanian frontier; in maintaining the resistance positions; in retreating with audacity and sacrifices. Thanks to the help of its great unit, it managed to stop the fire circle of the enemy. Launched towards the borders, it determined the victorious end of the battle, consecrating by blood the tank drivers' motto "ferrea mole, ferreo cuore" ("strong bulk, strong heart"). Epiro, southern Albania, Yugoslavia; 28th October 1940 – 23rd April 1941.
Bronze Medal to the Civil Merit
Decree of 1st December 1970
On the occasion of a violent flood, it operated generously with men and vehicles, in difficult rescue interventions in favour of the populations hit by the disaster, contributing to limit and reduce the disastrous damages. Province of Vercelli, 2nd November – 20th December 1968.
